Oil mist
What is it and why is it harmful?
Oil mist is an oil sludge which is a side effect of the production process in industrial plants, otherwise oil mist is a highly harmful pollutant:
- Inhalation of oil mist can cause lung disease.
- Oil mist almost always it settles in rooms, on equipment and products. The slippery residue it leaves on the surfaces of floors and other devices can lead to serious accidents.
- Contamination of electronic components can cause crashes and performance degradation.
However, oil mist filtration is not essential for the health and safety of a plant's employees alone.
Oil mist settling on various surfaces, including machines and devices, can damage electrical circuits
and switchgears, and consequently machine failures and costly downtime.
Removal of oil mist in the workplace is essential for safety and cleanliness - filtration is necessary for this. Special filtering devices are used for this.
