SCHUNK GmbH & Co. KG from Lauffen / Neckar is a German family business and a global player rolled into one. The company was founded in 1945 by Friedrich Schunk as a mechanical workshop and under the leadership of Heinz-Dieter Schunk it became a competence and global market leader in the field of clamping technology and gripping systems. Today, the company is run by the third generation, siblings Henrik A. Schunk and Kristina I. Schunk.
